Who are the parents association?
We the parent’s association are a collection of parents who work in partnership with the school management and teachers to enhance the education and extra-curricular activities of our children.
What is our role?
We meet with Mr Murphy and Ms Doyle to collaborate on how best to improve our students experience within Ard Scoil Rath Iomghain
a. Attend monthly meetings
b. Get an update from management about activities in the school.
c. Give school management an insight into issues that are of concern to parents
d. Ensure parents are represented at all levels in the consultative process of school development and planning.
How do we help?
In addition to all this we run fund raisers and support multiple events throughout the year, these include:
1. School debs
2. Open Night
3. School Auction
4. 6th year graduation
5. Gaelteacht scholarship
Over the last number of years we have contributed to the purchasing of the foldable table and chairs,a defibulator and the bicycle racks to name a few.
